Learn More About Scout's Beasts

I grew up in the English countryside absolutely in awe of the world around me.

Through my studies I have been able to explore and learn our wonderful planet.

I think the most important thing is education. I feel it's the only way we can get out of the climate crisis and to save endangered animals.

Research Work Experience

September 2022 - June 2023

I have shadowed researchers at the John Innes Centre and Earlham Institute. Working on projects from the chemical composition of geraniums to how flower sent and colour play a part in how pollinators interact with them.

This was incredibly exciting and cemented the idea that research is the field for me

I have also worked alongside researches on The Breads, Norfolk, to help understand the preferred habitats for an invasive shrimp species called killed shrimp.
